Terms of Service for The Great Scoop Pet Waste Management

How to Pay?

We have a client portal where payment is processed. If you do not onboard yourself through the instant quote button on our website, we will create an account on your behalf after you have spoken to a Great Scoop representative. You will receive your login info in your email. The Process to sign up is simple and takes two minutes. Inside of your portal account, you will have access to copies of all paid invoices, records of past cleanups, and you can link your credit/debit card into the secure platform. After you link your card, we will generate and and pay invoices on your behalf and send you receipts.

Note:

Your card will need to be linked to your account by the time we arrive at your home. If your card is not connected by this time, we will attempt to contact you and knock on your door. IF no contact is made, we will reschedule your clean up for the next available date. Depending on the time of year this could be weeks out. Billing: Occurs on the first of every month Before Services are Provided. Payments for initial and one time cleanups are due upon completion of the job. For recurring services you will be charge the prorated remaining bill for the month along with the initial cleanup.

Next Payment is due the 1st of the following month

1. Introduction

Welcome to The Great Scoop, your trusted pet waste management and removal service. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

The Great Scoop offers pet waste removal services, including but not limited to cleaning pet waste from residential and commercial properties. Our services are intended for pet owners who require assistance with regular or one-time waste removal.

3. Service Area

Our services are available within Metro Atlanta GA, and Metro Houston, TX. We reserve the right to modify our service area at any time without prior notice.

4.a Payment Terms

  • Pricing: The pricing for our services is based on factors including the frequency of service, the size of the property, and the number of pets. Pricing is outlined on our website or will be provided upon request.

  • Late Payment: Invoices not paid within 10 days will incur a late fee of $25 per month.

  • Fees: The Great Scoop reserves the right to enforce or not enforce any fees mentioned.

4b. Payment and Billing

  • Recurring Service: Billing occurs at the first of every month Before services are provided.

  • One-time and Initial Services: Payments are due upon the completion of the job

  • NOTE: You will be billed the prorated remainder of the month along with initial cleanup for recurring services.

  • How to Pay: Payments are processed with our trusted 3rd party CRM, Sweep and Go, an account must be created and a credit/debit card must be linked into your account. Failure to have a linked credit/debit card will result in a rescheduling.

5. Scheduling and Cancellations

  • Scheduling: Services are scheduled based on availability. You will be notified of your appointment date within 48 hours prior to your service, we reserve the right to adjust your appointment at any appoint at your request or due to business needs.

  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule at any time prior to 24 hours, but you may not reschedule to the following day as our employees routes have already been predetermined. Days to reschedule to are limited to when a Great Scooper is available to your area.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel a scheduled service by providing at least 24 hour notice. A 24 hour window is required as our employees routes are scheduled the preceding evening and late changes can causes disruptions to their schedules Cancellations made after this time may result in a cancellation fee of $25

    • Cancellation of Recurring services after completion of the Initial Clean-up will result in the revocation of any promotion and the original charges will be applied. i.e. $80 charge for the initial clean up service

6. Responsibilities of the Client

  • Access to Property: The client agrees to provide clear and safe access to the property on the scheduled date of service. If access is restricted, a rescheduling fee may apply.

  • Pet Safety: The client is responsible for ensuring pets are safely secured or confined during the waste removal process. The Great Scoop is not responsible for any injuries or damage caused by pets during service.

  • Proper Disposal Area: The client agrees to provide a designated area for waste removal or to provide instructions for where waste should be disposed of.

7. Service Limitations

  • Weather Conditions: Services may be delayed or rescheduled due to weather conditions, including but not limited to heavy rain, snow, or extreme temperatures.

  • Service Restrictions: The Great Scoop reserves the right to refuse service if there are unsafe working conditions, including hazardous terrain, aggressive pets, or other environmental concerns.

8. Liability and Indemnity

The Great Scoop will take reasonable care in performing services. However, we are not responsible for any damage to property or injuries that occur during service, except in cases of negligence or willful misconduct. By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold The Great Scoop harmless from any claims arising from accidents, injuries, or damage during service.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected will be used solely for the purposes of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice at any time and or the Client Portal. Termination by the client is subject to any outstanding payments for services rendered up to the termination date.

11. Amendments

The Great Scoop reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated Terms will take effect upon posting. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

12. Dispute Resolution by Arbitration

Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service, or the breach, termination, or validity thereof, shall be resolved by binding arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its rules for arbitration of commercial disputes. The arbitration shall take place in a location dictated by The Great Scoop and shall be conducted in the English language.

The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Both parties agree to bear their own costs in connection with the arbitration, unless the arbitrator rules otherwise.

By agreeing to these Terms, you waive any right to bring or participate in a class action, and you agree that any dispute will be resolved individually through arbitration.

13. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
